Cenotes Chac Mool and Kukulcan will introduce the first-timers to a very safe, easy and fascinating set of dives. These cenotes display mesmerizing light shows, ancient fossils & crystals, varied speleotherms and mystical halocline & hydrogen sulfide effects.
Cenote Kukulcan is one of the most beautiful cenotes for its displays of light, the sparkling photosynthesis from the algae, the turtles, it is a vast cavern with easy access to the surface at all times.
Cenote Chac Mool is a bit more challenging as it is a little darker, however the rewards are well worth it. Chac Mool has a massive cavern covered in stalactites with an air dome where you will surface and be lucky enough to see fossils, crystals, root pillars, fruit bats, catfish, cave spiders and maybe a rare sight of a molting tarantula.
