More Details

(Part 1): Theory and video sessions

The theory and video sessions take place in our air conditioned classroom or beach side restaurant. There are  2 modules of theory to complete. Each video can take between 45 -60 minutes to watch. Each module is proceeded by a discussion with our PADI Instructor and the study sessions are checked with the use of pop quizzes, or multiple choice quizzes to help monitor the students progress and understanding of the material.

(Part 2): Confined Water Training

Confined Water Training means learning to dive in water which is shallow enough to stand up. Our confined water training takes place on the beach in a natural environment. You will complete the final two modules of the confined water training. If necessary we shall review all of your other diving skills that were developed during the Scuba Diver training.

(Part 3): Open Water Dives

To complete the course the student must participate the final two open water dives # 3 and 4 of the PADI Open Water Diver course. Each dive is approximately an hour long and there is a light lunch and refreshments provided between the dives on boat day trips.

Upon completion of the PADI Open Water Diver Course, the student is presented with a temporary PADI Open Water Diver card that enables the newly certified diver to participate in any fun dives while waiting for their main dive certificate card to arrive from PADI headquarters.
