PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER
What's not Included...
- 5 adventure dives
- Courses start any day
The course is split into 2 parts:
Students complete the knowledge review with the aid of the Adventures in Diving manual.
Students perform the skills for each of the 5 Adventure dives.
- Day 1: 8 AM – 12 PM: Knowledge Reviews with 2 shore dives or 2 boat dives.
- Day 2: 8 AM – 3 PM: Boat Day Trip 2 dives.
Theory classes are conducted in our air-conditioned classroom or beach side restaurant.
Unlike the open water course there are no long video sessions
Pick up service is not included. Guests need to make their own way to our dive center for the trip meeting point.
(Part 1): Theory
Students are required to answer the questions in each knowledge review with the use of the Adventures in Diving Manual. The manual is available online if students wish to study in advance of arriving.

(Part 2): Open Water Dives
There are 5 Adventure dives in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. The course will take 2-3 days depending upon which dives are selected.
There are two dives which are compulsory:The Deep Adventure Dive and the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive.
You may pick 3 elective dives from these options:
Delayed Surface Marker Buoy
Digital Underwater Imaging (Need to do the full course)
Dive Against Debris
Enriched Air Nitrox (Need to do the full course)
Peak Performance Buoyancy
Search & Recovery
Must be over the age of 15 years
Must be healthy to dive
Must be a certified open water diver
